LBJ dead at 94

Lady Bird Johnson died today at the age of 94. Like most people my age I don't recall her years in the White House as much as I recall her work in Texas. After her husband was elected President in 1964, she had no more elections to rig so she switched to planting flowers. All along Texas highways and FM's in the spring the right of ways are covered with bluebonnets and about a gillion other wildflowers.

We'll miss her.
